An Unexpected Foster Dog
Months ago, an unexpected guest entered our house: Mia the Staffordshire Terrier. Mia is a sweet puppy who, like so many rescue dogs, had a bit of a rough journey through the underground railroad of rescue organizations. She came to us filled with pent up puppy energy, ready to run circles around our yard. The first day we played, her tail wagged with such joy as she stole the toy and hid under the azelea. Since then, Mia and I have waged a never-ending battle over stuff teddy bears and indestructible rubber frisbees.
